The 1st International Conference on Risk Management and Reliability Analysis (ICRMRA), will be held in Beijing Institute of Technology in October 2008, and will be held as annual conferences in either China or U.S.
    ICRMRA focuses on research, practice and education on risk management and reliability analysis. The series of ICRMRA will be funded by National natural science foundation of China、K.C.Wong Education Foundation, Hong Kong and Beijing Municipal science &technology commission fundations, as well as some big companies, if the conference be prepared as early as possible.
    With an anticipated attendance of 1,000 people from academe, industry, and government, the 2008 conference content will be centered on the theme Innovation through Engineering and will highlight the research of CMMI grantees and their students. Conference activities will include more than 500 poster presentations, and plenary and breakout sessions on funding opportunities and proposal writing briefed by NSF program directors, research needs, opportunities, and best practices. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity for networking with other researchers and participants to develop collaborative efforts.
